National Superstock 1000 Championship leader Keith Farmer is to make his surprise MCE British Superbike Championship debut at Oulton Park
this weekend after being called up to replace the injured Stuart Easton on the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki.
The youngster, who currently heads the SSTK 1000 standings over Jason O'Halloran by three points, already races a Paul Bird Motorsport-prepared Kawasaki ZX-10R in that series, but will now get a chance on the full Superbike after Easton opted not to compete.
The Scot has been struggling with a knee he twisted in an accident during the non-championship Silverstone
200 event last month and after returning to action during free practice at Oulton Park, decided to sit the remainder of the event out.
The reigning Superstock 600 champion, Farmer will make his debut on the full Superbike in third free practice.
