HM Plant Honda's Karl Harris was lucky to escape serious injury during this practice fall, which left his factory CBR1000RR in pieces, at Cadwell Park on Sunday.
The accident sent Harris' Fireblade cart-wheeling into the air - and over an airfence - but the tough Briton was able to walk away and went on to qualify fifth later in the afternoon.
"I went into the corner a bit too fast and got on the gas a bit too hard and ended up biting the dust really. I was thinking 'don't hit me' - it was so close - but luckily I got away with it," he told
