Richard Cannon's shot of Chris Walker rounding Clearways could be said to be similar to that taken by Jed Pilmoor-Brady of Plater and Camier battling for the lead in Race 2 at Brands. However this one for me still deserves to be in the final five. The reason for it's inclusion is that, like Jed's shot, it is pin sharp, composition is good, the background is clean with no distractions. However Richard has either used a longer lens or cropped it tighter to zoom in one the one bike which itself makes it more dramatic. The fact also that it's more of a head-on angle than Jed's also gives it a more purposeful pose and Walker's knee slider is literally sliding along the track, it's a very powerful shot indeed.
