G50Z testing continues

Ginetta has continued development work of the new G50Z during testing at Estoril.

A1 Team GBR driver Danny Watts was given the task of putting more miles on the car – which features a 3.4 litre Zytek engine – during the Portuguese test, which saw the G50 on track alongside Quifel-ASM's new LMP2 machine.

The car ran without problems and a first customer order has now been received for the new GT-specification machine.

"The G50Z was faultless,” Ginetta's Richard Dean said. “We are delighted with the test and certainly very pleased with the pace of the car.

“This car can win races in GT championships; it is a serious piece of kit."
