ABG duo confirm return

Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins will look to secure a breakthrough win in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship after confirming their return to the series for the 2009 campaign.

The pair produced an impressive display during 2008 and came close to victory on more than one occasion, most notably at Silverstone when the ABG Motorsport-run Dodge Viper led the race into the final stages.

Now the pair will look to launch a championship challenge during the season ahead, with the Viper expected to be a front-runner again in the new campaign.

“We struggled at the beginning of last season with what was a new car to us, but the results started to flow once we got a handle on setting up the Viper,” Scott said. “We made some mistakes in 2008 but we have learned from them and we will start '09 in strong form, looking to start collecting even better results.”
