Guintoli received serious leg injuries during a controversial warm-up lap clash ....

That's Is a poor report of what happened.
It makes it all sound more 'action packed'.
But it Makes it sound like it was half Guintoli's own fault and lets HM Prat off the hook too.

Keep history clear: Guintoli received serious leg injuries when Brookes, travelling at abnormally high speed for a warm up lap, lost control of his machine and rammed Guintoli. Brookes subsequently blamed a fault in his brakes.
Even suspending disbelief & accepting he crashed because of an improbable brake failure, its still not explained how a fault in his brakes made him go abnormally fast in the first place.

errrrr and it was the sighting lap, not as reported the warm up lap.

I'm a little annoyed i had to pick my fantasy team before knowing he'd be back for def.

I think he'll get a couple of good results, shame while he's been out the bike will have suffered with lack of development in comparison to the yams!
