I think it was absurd to DQ Leon. I think they should only show the black and orange flag unless they are certain there is something coming out of the bike.

I'd be well pished if I was leon.
Last lap, a few puffs of smoke.. so what?
If he thought there was serious amounts of oil about hed've backed off more, surely.. :?

For safety reasons it couldn't have happend any other way, Camier was dammed if he did, and dammed if he didn't.
I thought it was good marshalling actually.

watching that last lap, I didn't see an orange/black flag on every corner?..
saying that, safety on a tight, tricky circuit with minimal run off, I guess is paramount.. I don't think it's gonna affect the championship outcome etc...
It's a given in our safe, wrapped in cotton wool world today.

There was smoke pouring out of the bike on the over-run and if you were stood at the side of the track it stank of burning oil....unlucky for Leon but definitely the right decision under the circumstances and given how dangerous it could potentially be for following riders. Colin Wright has accepted the decision and on what I'd taped of the TV coverage he even jokingly said he might 'fine' Leon for ignoring the flags. Good marshalling. It's been a while since I've been to Cadwell but got to say that as with the other JP circuits its in prestine condition, with clean and multitudinous facilities and and with proper traffic organisation etc...
