BSB » Ellison gives it the Spies treatment ahead of 2010

2009 British Superbike Championship runner-up James Ellison might be yet to ink a deal for the 2010 campaign - but if he does line up on the grid again, he will be in the best possible shape following a winter training push with reigning WSBK Champion Ben Spies in Texas

I can't decide if James did a good job or not last year, if the bike was as good as Leon made it look he should have done better. Maybe Ben and Leon were just riding exceptionally well and the bike is not as good as they made it look. I don't know but good luck to James whatever he does this year.

I don't really understand what Toseland has got to do with it but he lost his ride because he didn't compare well with Colin Edwards. Sykes lost his ride because he didn't compare well with Ben. Ellison did well in the championship but he didn't compare well with Leon.

It's a fair point though, on equal machinery you would have expected Ellison to get a little closer to Camier at times on paper. The fact remains though that Stuart Easton was the only man to beat Camier in a straight battle all year, and that was only the once. Was the best BSB race of the season and for a while though. :)

Does look like Ellison will be out of a job too though, unless GSE are keeping things under their hats.

GSE put out a statemant saying if no sponsor was found by the end of the year they would stop, and staff have been given letters of posible redudancy. Well it is new year does anybody know if any staff was made redundant there doesnt seem to be any word on this anywhere. Crash can you look into this?

Delgixer1,I am not where you got your Info, but I hope you are right. I think Hydrex will be an awesome team with Ellison and Easton,so I hope you are correct!I hope to see more riders on the grid as well.
