After six years on competitive bikes and precisely zero victories, I'm not surprised he can't get a BSB ride anymore. Unless he really shines this year, his career's in the graveyard, and not before time.

Fair enough he had a rough time on super bikes wth bad luck and that but the guy is still an outright racer. Think back to him on a 600 ,I think he could of made it very easy on the world stage at that time.

have people got short memories or what? when Karl won european superstock on the gsxr 750 against R1s and everything else they threw at him he was brilliant!
on the 600 he was pretty good aswell, ok he hasn't had the best of times on the superbikes but i don't think it was ever for the want of trying.
now he's back with Brent & Tony if the Aprilia is as good as it is reckoned to be anybody that doesn't think he will be there or there abouts is in cloud cuckoo land.
and as for riding ability i would suggest that those that think he can't ride he would be quicker than them if he sat on the bike backwards. so to Karl Brent Tony and all involved at GR Motorsport all the best for 2010, M

Had enough top rides and chucked most of them down the road. Too many young, hungry upcoming lads will force there way to the better rides and rightly so. Sorry Karl the end is in sight.

"Bomber" take no notice of these armchair critics on here and show us what the true race fans already know, that you're as fast as FCUK and very capable of that superstock title. Look on the bright side pal at least all the points you score will count to your championship. Good luck mate the true fans are totally behind you buddy and that's because most of us are much much slower !!!!! :) :) :)

I agree with alot of the comments here, I see Bomber as a hard and fair rider who rides with his heart, but unfortunately things haven't worked out for him recently. I think a year riding in the more relaxed Superstock series will do him good, heck he may even have a bit of fun! See you at Brands Karl!

The real fans are still really behind Karl to succeed. There was no better rider then Harris in his supersport years, the guy was fantastic.

I don't think that he was allowed to make the most of some of his rides. Rizla Suzuki, HM Honda perhaps not enduring their best seasons when Karl was aboard them.

Although he never won a superbike race he came awful close on occasion with some great rides. People are too quick to forget the good results like at Oulton.

Last round at Oulton before the crash Karl was one of the best riders all weekend on the SMT Honda. Led most of the sessions and i believe would've had 3 podiums that wkend if not for the crash putting him out.
