This is the 1st round and nothing is fact..

Saying that, Ellison rode strong today..hats off.
Seeley and obviously Hill had great starts too..

Brookes??..fast but when's he gonna learn.

Great effort from Easton considering his injury.

Colin Wright told us via TV last season when asked about a particular ride (no idea which round, as it was the same in all races) of Ellison's "what will you say to James", "I will tell him it should not take 2/3rds (give or take) of a race to overtake an inferior package!". Words to that effect. He was smiling but not joking.
I think perhaps he lacks the balls and/or imagination to really achieve.
All I know is he was very frustrating to root for last season, I did not see today's racing so can not make any comparisons.

@ jonno a great days racing and the only thing you can do is complain about the camera man missing the crashes.Amazing!.What a Brilliant day of racing BSB gives you from the starter series up to the Big boys.Ellison was tremendous as was Tommy Hill. When Stuart Easton is fit again it will get even better. And i know this is going to upset a lot of people but i cannot see Neil Hodgson living with this new wave of young chargers.Having said that Chris walker was having a pretty good day until i assume he was taken out by Dan Linfoot.Good to see the new lads near the front. They will get stronger as the season goes on.Great to see Bradley Smith involved with the young upstarts.A great days racg :)

@ Jonno! I should of agreed with you that it was a great days racing i apologise to you for not mentioning that part of your post.Fair play to you. @ where now! yes it did get a bit frustrating to watch Ellison last season but if this race was anythibg to go by he was a differant rider.Him and Tommy hill were the stand out riders i reckon.Although that is only my opinion.

Ellison lack balls ? What a former 2 x European Superstock champ, World Endurance Champ, MotoGP racer, BSB runner-up and multiple BSB race winner ? Did you not see the Oulton Park race between Ellison, Hill, Easton and Camier last year? I think you need balls the size of coconuts to race like that.

He certainly carved through the field in race 1 to get 3rd place didn't he ? He's the man to beat in my opinion and should be up in WSBK next year for a decent squad.

What's the thoughts on the new rules.

Like - Same electronics, one bike rule

Dislike - second race qualifying via fastest lap and I don't think the dropping 2 scores will be good either but lets wait on that.

I also think that we will see many more mechanical failures due to the lack of fundimng about and the one bike rule.
