Of all of them out there today, Ellison looks the one most likely to lift the title, barring any bad luck and flying Brookes's of course. Tommy has regrouped well since his injuries and is clearly after a second tilt at WSBK, however I think that his reputation as a 'tryer' might just lead to the odd costly mistake here and there due to 'trying' that bit too hard and not knowing when to settle for second or third. Brookes is still not consistent enough. Kiyo will be a threat all year and Easton will get stronger as the effects of his injury subside. Seeley is one for the future no doubt. Sof if James plays his cards right he could lift the title and surely the keys to a decent ride in WSBK..

Don't think I'll argue with merc on that.

As far as talent goes there's not a lot between Ellison, Kiyo and Easton. But the effect of Easton's leg injury was obvious and - never thought I'd say this about HM Plant - Kiyo's bike was not mechanically as well sorted as Ellison's. If they don't get back on form that'll do for their championship hopes.
