"Brookes, whose one-off success actually moves him to fifth in the Superstock standings"

Huh?

So they haven't done many races yet or what? Or there aren't many competitors who race every round?

"those yanks"? It's only one being a whinning little nanny.

But anyway, how can he win 2 rounds and get to 5th in the title at this point in the year? Wins must be a extremely huge amount of points more than 2nd or 3rd.

There's only been 4 previous races this season, so only a maximum of 100 points up for grabs. Getting 50 points from the 2 wins is of course going to put you well up there.

Bet Steve Plater was pleased, because the more points Brookes took riding his bike meant the less his championship rivals could take meaning there's still a chance for Plater to win the title when he comes back from injury.

It's ashame that British Eurosport didn't cover this in its MotoGP programme, they cover National Superstock when it supports a British Superbike round, never mind. :(

In my opinion Josh Brookes was on a 100% legal superstocker as Glen Richard's bike was equally as fast if not faster..Why dont people give credit were due...the best rider in the race won it...Me personally am not a Josh Brookes fan but the boy can ride a bike and he is a good bet to do the double at Mallory park next weekend.
John Kirkham rode for the championship and extended his lead knowing that the wildcards were not a threat to him..old head on young shoulders..well done John.He will be Back winning at Knockhill.
