Last year I thought he was a dangerous knob.

Then watched the Mallory incident on the end of season BSB CD set a few times & came to the conclussion it was a seriously optimistic thing to try but wasn't red mist insane like I thought at the time. I reckon the ban was as much about appeasing fans hacked off about the Guintolli incident (which I admit I'm still doubtful about) and the number of fallers rather than the level of mistake the bloke made.

From his showing this year I'm pretty positive about him. Sure he's a bold, fast rider, but the risks he's taking are pretty calculated which kind of goes with top rider territory.

I reckon BSB's way better with Brookes than without.
