BSB » Bad weather forces race two cancellation

A pile-up at the start of race two sparks a clean up operation, during which time the wind begins to create problems.

Been pointed out so many times before but Knockhill is a sh1theap with no summer.
Why oh why does this championship still keep going to this useless hole???

Jezza your a complete kn0b!!!

Knockhill is one of the best circuits in Britain. Not as good as Brands or Silverstone, but its a unique track that the RIDERS love.

Sure the weathers not always great, but that doesn't stop it offering some of the best and close racing during the season. If it had been hosting the championship last weekend, it would've been fine.

Your a55hole comment, is typical of many people posting on Crash. You haven't a clue mate. Typical arm chair racer.

Actually Keech, Jezza is totally spot-on.
Knockhill is more a go-kart track than circuit. It started as a site for racing tractors!
Keech - YOU are the kn0b and a55hole. Presumably a Jock one too.

Knockhill IS a ****hole, with facilities that would embarrass a shanty town. I've been there twice when I worked in BSB. Both times it pissed it down, turning the camping area into a mudbath, and the racing was scrapped because the circuit drainage was so inadequate. Knockhill isn't fit to hold a club race, let alone a British Championship race, and the series only go there coz it's the only passable track in Jockland - and that tells you what ****eholes the others are. Knockhill should be scrubbed in favour of Anglesey or Castle Combe.

PhilW, i am Scottish yes, and proud of a very good little circuit.

I assume you mean that before the track was built, farmers used to race their tractors around the hill. The track was built after, a long time after.

Pi55 of you racist tw#t

Geoff, Anglesey has worse facilities than Knockhill. And jockland. My, oh my the racist english folk are out in force today.

I think you'll both find that the circuit is more than adequate to host a series round. It draws in huge crowds and has great racing.

Pi55 off with all your anti-scots view points. You tar good English folk, with your racist brushes! Kn0b Jockies the lot of you

What's needed is to let the Jocks be independent.
Put the border up and make BSB into ESB.
Then they can do whatever they want (& pay for it themselves). Scottish Superbike Championship???? Hahahahahahahahaha. Would anyone turn up?

Get over yourself Keech. The term Jock is no more racist than the Australians calling us Poms. Knockhill is a ****hole. Fact. Just face it. But then so is Mallory Park, but I'm able to face that fact despite the fact it's in my country. And as for racers 'loving' Knockhill, have you ever asked the southern English guys how much they 'love' burning £££s in fuel driving up to that dump every year? No? Didn't think so.

Hey iggy. They do have very well attended Scottish bike championships north of the border so less of the sneering. Where else would Guthrie, McIntyre, King ...McKenzie Jnr learn their trade? The fine trophy they compete for is one donated by the German government pre WWII in honour of Jimmie Guthrie.
As for removing Knockhill from the BSB calendar, I suppose those in favour would like another round at Mallory Park, that well known sub standard GoKart track.
