He hasn't got the championship lead, he's the leading qualifier for the championship. In the points that matter, the podium points that will decide who is champion, Tommy Hill still leads. It doesn't matter how far ahead in the 'normal' points Josh is, any advantage he gets will be taken away.

Yeah, great points takes the Eurosport mob 10 minutes to try and explain what's going on every week and they still look confused, but then say how exciting it all is for the viewers/spectators.....its pants and they know it!

Whatever the points system is, I like to see Brooks up there after the season he had last season.

Who knows when the cut off is for the showdown? I'm hoping A. Sealey (sp?) can get in there.

Geez, your Poms are a tough lot arnt you!!! Brooksey is only in his second year of the championship and has a shot at winning it and you still bag him. The dude is a freak. I hope he smokes you all in the latter of this season.I cant believe you guys dont enjoy a young buck coming to challenge your locals, you should embrace it. Ifhe goes on to win a WSBK championship you will probably all claim to like him again... Pfft!

I can't see any posts having a go at Brookes, my previous post was having a go at the points system, not at Josh. As far as I'm concerned he's leading the 'normal' championship fair and square and that should be it. We shouldn't be using this podium points nonsense, it makes it confusing and is potentially unfair. I don't mind who wins, as long as it's the rider who has been the best over the whole season.
