Looking forward to this, just recovering from Silverstone and this weekend it is off to Brands for me. Could do with a weekend at home to properly recover but this will be my last bike/camping event on home soil for the year.
C'mon Tommy, get the results at your home track and take the fight to those HM Plant boys :)

Can't wait for this one. Racing at Snett was great and should be even better on the GP circuit. Looking forward to seeing MotoGP bikes on the long track too. Think Tommy will be near the front but my money's on the HM Plant boys this weekend.

I hope Tommy has a good weekend & wish him well for a triple win.

BTW Is BH this weekend the last meeting of the "proper" 2010 before they rule out most of the entrants from progressing any further up the championship standings?

I'm all for wildcards al be it a bit backwards with worlds going to british. Hm plant had to make new engines for wsbk at silverstone. Fair enough they blew up, does it mean kawasaki have to detune there engines? Hope they don't mess with the riders and the new points system.

Make new engines for WSB? Why when BSB and WSB rules are the same regarding what's allowed to be changed on the bike, including engines.
They had to build 2 new bikes as in BSB it is one bike per rider and in WSB it is two.
Where did you get this from Dan? It makes no sense but happy to be wrong if you can show me where you got the info from

I thought BSB had aligned with BSB on engine rules too.
Curiously enough the comentators at Silverstone last Sunday said the same thing about less power'tho ~ something like '... And Brookes is doing an amazing job hanging in there mid-pack dicing with Xaus, don't forget the BSB bikes are down on power compared to the WSB engines'.

I ain't saying it is so.
I'm saying that's what they said.

Hmm, either Jack B and Jamie W are talking ****e (possible lol) or there is a difference.

Thing is, 2 years back they did reduce the things you could do to the engine internals and there was a load of BSB boys doing Donington as wildcards. I seem to remember Sykes getting a lot of engine blow up's due to the change in the rules so (i think i remember something around stock con rods or something like that)they changed them back to WSB spec rules.

Next year could be Evo all round, that would be good for the grid and the costs for teams but may hinder anyone being able to do any wildcards in WSB. Time will tell.

Taken from another site August 2009..
BSB ran FIM regs in 2007, went to a more restrictive supersport-tune engine format last year and is now back to FIM spec again.
I think that's the same this year with the addition of the Evo class into the fray but as we all know despite them running with the big boys they have their own championship
