Apparently it was a suspension change which has caused Easton's fall in form, but I believe he has changed back and the problem is now in his head. He's has simply got to grit his teeth and get on with it, last year at this point he was a candidate for WSBK, this year he's a candiddate for British Superstock.

Stuart has actually won on both suspension and on both swing arms but did go quicker on the latest stuff from this year, look at it how you like he just needs to get his head back on right.

Not to mention all the problems he's had with broken sensors (a known Honda problem, on a five pound part, which also blighted McGuinness and Amor at the TT) plus the washout that was Knockhill.

I just hope he's not as mentally fragile as Hizzy was and can write this season off after some unusual problems.

there are too many electrical aids fitted to the bikes..Take them all off and ride the thing.Surely if he had a Superstock spec loom on the bike with the superbike chassis on slicks Stuart would at least get to the end of the race.An electrical wheel speed sensor should not make the bike un-rideable if it fails.Bring on FULL EVO with no traction control.the sooner the better.Glen Richards Superstock Honda laps most circuits in a time that would be respectable in superbikes.Lets get back to some proper racing before the Laptop takes over.

Anything can happen but you getting into the top 6 of the championship after Cadwell Park, sorry but you just have had to many crashes this year and to be honest havent been quick enough anyway to go with Kiyo, Brookes and Hill. Time to think about a ride in WSS or stay where you are cus WSBK aint guuna be calling for 2011.

@ mushet..

"Hizzy mentally fragile" I don't think so "mushet" I knew Steve quite well (his picture is above me on the wall as I type on the Monster Mob Duke')

Any rider that can wrestle the Norton Rotary around the Isle Man TT circuit for 6 laps cannot ever be descibed as "mentally fragile" not forgetting his epic battle with Foggy in the island either.

...but I am beginning to have doubts about Stewart Easton, it was a bad crash when he hit the fencing earlier this season and even if the physical scars have healed I don't think Stuart has come to terms with the mental side yet. There is no confidence in his riding his body language is all wrong.

I do hope he gets it back

I wasn't saying Hizzy was a poor rider - he's one of my heroes. But when it wasn't going right for him with set-up etc, he did struggle, just as Stuart has been doing...

Please don't take offence about my reference to Steve. He was a great man and would've taken plenty more scalps before his career ended, had it not been tragically shortened.
