Wow! This IS exciting, it must be because I heard Mr Palmer on Eurosport telling me how exciting it is. There was only about 5 points separating the top 3 riders at the end of normal play today. Isn't that close enough?
I guess we can call Hill the 2010 BSB champion & whoever wins the "dash for cash" can be the consolation prize winner. What happens to riders like Laverty (J) and Ellison who may have been able to get a top six placing under the old rules? They may as well stay at home now & save the sponsors some cash.
I realise that all the pro-new rules men will be jumping down my throat for being old fashioned but sometimes the old ways work.

It's plain to see that all the commentators including tony carter are all towing the MSVR line and trying to big up the "Shootout", as it was blatently obvious that when Michael Rutter said the real champion should be the one who scores the most points over the whole season was told to shut up and quickly ushered out of the way. Well done Michael for voicing what I believe to be most of the actual riders opinion.

I'm a fan of the Devizes potty mouth, but his move on Laverty was a dangerous kamikazee attempt, where he was lucky to come out of Barn on two wheels.

The rose-tinted specs are well and truly on for some of you lot, eh?

As for the shootout, I was at Cadwell, so haven't watched the live stuff yet, but I like Rutter's opinion on the new format. I think the podium points should be more widely spaced, to give race winners more incentive to take a bigger lead into the so-called "shoot out."

Kamikazee attempt? He never even touched him, he was through and Laverty pulled his front brake too hard. Watch a few replays i would suggest. I'm backing Hill all the way but i do like Bridewell and that move was daring but hardly kamikazee. It's bike racing ffs, i've seen harder moves than that many many times and they are not penalised.
Shame the race was red flagged i think Josh and Tommy would have been swapping paint a few more times :)
Josh was awesome to watch on the mountain, could watch that all day.
Nice one Tommy Hill, shut 50cc up and finger's x'd you are champion despite this bloody stupid shootuout nonsense.

Would seem that we all think the shootout is sh1te, hope they get shot of it. The man with the most points at the end of the season deserves it.
Like the fastest lap thing though! Hope WSB takes note and brings that in themselves.
