I was one of the many people vocal about Brookes a couple of seasons back with the Brembo-gate incident, when we were all unaware that Beltram had sh@t on him for the sake of keeping face for his precious team.

Brookes has really come on, kept his head down and let the racing do the talking. There are mutterings about HM Plant giving orders to him and Kiyo to ensure which one of them got the title at Oulton.

Good luck to him and whoever his team mate is (hopefully M. Lav) next season. Hector and Phillip deserve every success.

I can't help but think that the only reason he has jumped ship from HM Plant is because he knows he has no chance of beating Kiyo on the same bike as Kiyo is in a different league. I don't believe he was sh*t on by the team, I just think he was outclassed at Oulton by a much better rider. He'll win races again, but won't win the championship.

Didn't expect that and still don't understand his decision. HM Plant is a top team, and considering poor Suzuki backing everywhere Relentless is a step backwards.

Though good luck to him for 2011. hope to see some exciting racing!

Barry Bobbins - if Brookes wasn't sh@t on by HM Plant and Beltran (which I believe is French for liar) then why wasn't he allowed to say why his brakes went kaput going into the Melbourne Loop? They soon swept Glen's crash at Knockhill under the carpet too.

9 disagrees for normans Walker comment?
Are we the only ones who think Stalker's no where near past it? He's spent the last two seasons trying to develop bikes which lesser riders have given up on and walked away whilst putting in quite a few stylish rides on said pigs.HM Plant could do much worse.

Didn't expect this but it does make sense. Where else could he go?

HM Plant are (by their own admission) struggling for bidget for BSB although the TT and NW200 funds are in place. Looks like a 1 rider team for Kiyo (keeps HRC happy as well) with Amor and McGuiness on the roads, Plater in SS1000 and maybe roads too.

Crescent are in trouble too with no manufacturer support but are probably obliged to run Suzukis because of the MotoGP team.

SMR have just switched to Yamaha so might struggle (did for much of last year with the Fireblade) and the R1 has also proven an awkward ****** unless your name is Spies or Camier.

Lastly MSS are running a new and unproven bike and are not proven race winners, Riders Ducati are I think running the same 2 guys last I heard and no one is (yet) running non-Evo BMWs or Aprilias.

I just read Josh Brookes' tweet on twitter asking if anyone knows how good GSXR1000's are at jumping, saying he'll find out for himself at Cadwell next year, lol, got to love that comment.

They could of at least rolled out last seasons race bike for him to pose in front of instead of a bone stock street bike with the ugly license plate holder, hideous end can, and mirrors. Jeez.
