Why the switch, easy one bob, Kawasaki is pushing the same hype all manufacturers push when a new bike premiers. Lighter, faster, etc. Tell me you haven't seen this before form all the manufacturers and tell me you haven't been disappointed more times than not. The difference is, the BMW is all those things, it is lighter, faster and more bhp out ofthe box than the others. There are no doubts with the BMW going into next season, also it has a season of racing development to be shared etc. The ZX10R is new and they would be back at square one. Plus Kawasaki has notoriously not put coin into their racing sadly.

Jentin would be a better choice to run the BMW team as they already know the bike.
Buildbase are a good team but Jentin would be a good choice for BMW and the Jentin team have secured Stevie Brogan for 2011 who knows how to get the best out of the BMW as he proved this year.

I'd imagine the why is the same reason why SMR has switched to Yamaha and Crescent may be moving from Suzuki - factory support. MSS are the official Kawasaki team in BSB and have a strong relationship with PBM as well.

I am a bit surprised though, last rumour I heard was that Jentin were stepping up to BSB with Brogan and someone else was riding Evo, possibily Jon Kirkham. Are Jentin in trouble, Cooper rode for them last year but now is with Buildbase?

I think the reason they got BMW is due to Signing Cooperman. He is BMW in the U.K. Remember when the S1000RR came out, in 2009 the ONLY person allowed to ride it as a demo bike was Cooperman.

Just a quickie.. If Cooperman is BMW in the UK how come Brogan got the EVO ride last year and Cooperman is still in the Stockers this year?? Seems a bit of an upside down way to treat your No1 guy?? I'd love to see Cooperman on the Superbike..
