BSB » Tinmouth makes history as first lady of BSB

The TT's female record-holder Jenny Tinmouth is no stranger to breaking down boundaries, but in 2011 she will achieve her finest breakthrough yet - by becoming the first woman ever to compete in the British Superbike Championship with Splitlath Motorsport

Could I also remind you all that she has also lapped the TT course at just a tad short of 120mph. A course which so many of your male heroes whom you worship week in week out wouldn't even consider riding on in anger.

So beneath that very pretty exterior lies a pair of bigger balls than many others in this "male dominated" sport.

Cams & Jon, sorry chaps but your wrong, I have met Hudson a number of times, so my comments are a little more than speculation, I know people in Raceways (where he was sacked for having a go at the team owner about his bike) I know how difficult he was at first to the lady who worked his pit board at Raceway, I also know he was of great help to a young up and coming Irish rider, so as my first post said lets hope he works with Jen and not against her, if so she may well surprise those who suggest her pace wont be quick enough.

Aprilia should sign her to race superbike in the states. She'd sell a lot more bikes than Max. Most people here never heard of Max or Aprilia. If she pulled in 1/20th of what Danica Patrick makes she'd be loaded. What's not to like with this lady? Good luck to all the BSB riders this year. I wish they held a couple of rounds here in the states.

Well ideas about positive discrimination, politics, not deserving the ride or what have you, will be certainly tested during the season. There's no female friendly rules that I know of? She'll have to be within the 107 rule and race the lads on a level playing field. Sure there will be yadda yadda that 'ooh its a girl' but hopefully that will have ended by the second round. Let the points tell the story!!! Race on!!! :)
