After a somewhat inauspicious debut as a BMW operation at Brands Hatch, Buildbase is nonetheless confident it is heading in the right direction with the new S1000RR.

Standard elctronics too or homemade as they dont have cash to buy BMs version and no testing etc. ..taken on too much..the BM is a **** to be a full Brit superbike..chassis wise..and no real WSBK parts available..mad move!

Dave I dont know what racing you were watching last year but Buildbase Kawasaki out performed the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team by a long shot and just missed out on the top 6. They'll come good fast, and have 2 high profile front running riders who are desperate to get back to the front.

Bit bitter there, Dave. Get turned down for a job!?! Sure, I was disappointed with Brands showing. However, from past experience, I know what Stuart Hicken is capable of achieving on a tight budget. Early days.
