Got to feel for tommy as he is a star of the future, if poss he needs to get with a team that spends there money in the right places, like bike spares!! Can you ever imagine swan yamaha, relentless Suzuki, cresent Suzuki, hm plant Honda, mss Kawasaki I could go on, releasing a statement a lame as tyco's?

I made a constructive comment the other day that i thought someone should put an arm around this lad and tell him to calm down a bit. Sure he's super confident but that to some people can give the impression of arrogance and i'm sure thats not the case here. sad that his speed as got the better of his experience this weekend. food for thought ????

Laverty, Brookes, Kiyo, to name a few, all smashed their bikes up badly at Brands last weekend aswell. Can you imagine Havier Beltran telling Kiyo he cant ride because his bikes bust, or Shaun Muir saying, sorry Laverty but we've ran out of spares, you'll have to spectate this weekend!!!
Tommy Bridewell rides his heart out to get results, and crashing comes with the job.
It seems the Tyco team are spending their money in the wrong area's, and whilst Tommy is giving it his best, the team are not.
This weekends situation is ridiculous at this level.
Tyco seriously need to get their act together.

Really sad news for Tommy and the paying public as this lad always gives 100%, a third last week and will certainly one day be the one to beat given the right team. I think Quay have been in the privateers cup so long that they are lost up there with the big players, they either need to back Tom and go all out or go back to evo where they are comfy.

I can understand why some people think Tommy needs to calm down and hopefully crash less (sometimes I think that myself) but its easier to make a fast rider more steady than it is to make a steady rider fast as Casey Stoner proved in 2007 after crashing his brains out in 2006......

Hi,

I think 2 major crashes within 5 days would cause a few problems for a lot of teams. Previous posters are assuming that the team has a bottomless pit of specialist spares, money to buy them, and techs to do the rebuild. Lets give what is acually a small team all the support they need..remember Tommy put the bike on the podium last week, against factory teams and an ex moto gp rider...not bad for a team put together over the last few months with new bikes.
