Good stuff from Alex Lowes again. Only a tenth behind Brookes and two tenths up on Kiyo for a rookie on an EVO bike is impressive.

There must be more than one top team manager already watching the lad with a view to signing him for next year.

both Laverty and Lowry are top-eight capable riders in this championship, but they both seem to be having utter nightmares with that Beemer.

Given that they are presumably the premier BMW team in this class, you'd hope that BMW would be helping them out in some way?

I was at Croft and I thought Jenny did very well today also they said Kyonari had throttle problems in the slow corners some thing to do with "fly by wire" system on the bike.
John Hopkins what a gentleman,he made time for everybody who wanted photographs and the kids wanting autographs .
An excellent day and a credit to the sport

To the men (yeah right!) calling Jenny Tinmouth's position out and trying to take the piiss. I bet she could lap you after 5 laps of any circuit in the UK. Sad fooking armchair jerks! Go out and do it if you can! No? Then STFU!

Jenny's achievements are great and to be applauded. So I too applaud her, despite continued problems. However, it is a sad and honest fact regarding British support for British riders that 11 comments in on this article, and not one single thing has been said about the guy that this article is about - Shakey Byrne. Out there proving the doubters wrong - getting pole on something other than a Ducati. Come on... give our boy some support. Hopkins is great, but is a yank, Kiyonari great but is Japanese, Laverty is Irish, Baz is French, Brookes an Aussie.

Nobody is saying they don't deserve credit when due, but FFS... our British 2 time champion is doing the business here ???? WTF...
