This is all part of coming to terms with a new team and new bike. A learning curve I'm sure every rider deals with differently. His brother had a similar start to his Yamaha factory ride and look where he is post Monza. He's certainly one the fastest guys out there and has plenty of time to recover a top 6 position. Possibly still my favourite to win the title.

deffo a dead fast rider, but seems to be making to many errors to be a serious title contender, Its a shame cus i would love to see him up there battling it out at the front, but it aint gunna happen until he calms down abit and starts riding with his head abit.. Crashed out at brands,, Ran off twice in same place at Oulton park,, Crashed at Croft. could be expensive for swan this year i fear.. come on Mr laverty

Didn't Lavetry and his team Go crying to the Stewards last season when Bridewell passed him up the inside(cleanly)?
He's fair game now for some tough moves in my book.

OH ! here come the haircut police. WHAT TWADDLE. the guy was a contender last year ffs. thats why he got this ride, as for his riding, some would have said he would need to be more agressive, now they say hes being too agressive(they said much the same about t hill).what a bitter little man for croft a bad call on race tyres in race one no points (it happens),race 2 a coming together with another rider BIG DEAL it happens in racing havin the guys a goodun just needs a little luck to go his way,and he will win plenty of races

Gregor - Do you actually know Michael?

Is it satisfying to sit on the couch hiding behind a computer screen and run down a great rider who also happens to be decent bloke?

Perhaps you can list your motorcycling achievements for us all to marvel at - I wont hold my breath waiting for a reply.......

Agree with Gregor....MLav is a good guy and a strong racer who will come good. Didn't get to see the races as I'm overseas but what on earth happened at Croft? Results all over the place.
