Such a shame about stuart easton i love that little rider and his style and his year was looking to be much better than last on the swan honda.

Look forward to seeing lowes do that bike justice he was showing the big boys he could keep up on an evo bike i bet they all ****ting themselves now.

Who didn't see this one a mile off? Nick Morgan always gets a stand in rider, Rutter, Mainwaring and Walker have all stood in for Andrews while he suffered with injury. All 3 of those riders performed very well and absolutley no doubting Alex will do the same.

Daveyboy.. yes good point, but guess Simon is pretty much tied to the PR Team with his contract. Would seem to be the natural choice though, and being a big Si fan would of loved to see him back on the MSS ZX10. Still maintain he is well worthy of a works BSB ride. However giving Alex the seat is a great move and Nick is a clever boy for jumping on that one so quick (no flies on that boy)difficult times, and we all wish Stu a speedy recovery. Alex is a very talented and level headed young guy he will have the measure of it, just watch the coming rounds.. :O)

What Alex Lowes does on the Evo bike is nothing but amazing, so on Easton's Kawasaki he will be able to show just how brilliant a young rider he is!! I have heard that Alex is just as good as his brother Sam -peas out of the exact same pod - so I can't wait to see him at Thruxton!! B.S.B. is fantastic this year and this is only going to add more amazing racing to the seriously good stuff we have already seen !! Go for it Alex lad !!!!!

Alex is a fantastic talent and will acheive great things in racing - of that I have no doubt, however please be realistic about his prospects on the Kawasaki - he may do fantastically, but it may take a few rounds. A full BSB superbike takes a lot more setting up than an EVO bike and he presumably will have no time for testing before the next round.

Alex is a great choice for the stand-in. Very sorry to hear about Stuart - MCN site reports that he has already undergone surgery.

Buelliful .

I read that Paul Bird has given Stuart Easton a deal for 2012 for either BSB, or WSBK (whichever he wants) as he feels it will help ease his worries about next year whilst he is recuperating.

Hats off to Mr.Bird, that's a nice touch. At least it gives Stuart an option for next year.
