BSB » Byrne turns it around with Thruxton win

Having started race one in last position, Byrne can leave Thruxton satisfied with a third place and a race win.

Can't argue with last to 3rd , then 1st to 1st . Either shakey is the second coming of the Lord or BSB is a lot easier than WSB - either way Shakey is doing the biz and Hopper is also punching above his wieght so good on the pair of them .

Kiyo needs to pull his finger out - with all due respect to Peter Hickman he is not a rider I would have expected to outclass Kiyo at Thruxton. On top of that he is now out of the top six and in danger of not qualifying for the shootout.

Re the first comment - of course BSB is easier than WSB!

@Binza thats now only 7 points for Kiyo from Croft and Thruxton out of a possible 100!

Excellent rides from Shakey today 33rd to 9th in 2 laps was incredible. Hopkins showing the class that runs though his veins and Lowes showing his raw skill, shame he fell.

Hi folks, im not a byrne fan but that was superb....
i hope hopper can do very well this year but i think byrne without any injuries is going to be untouchable.
everybody else (kiyo, hill, etc) to inconsistant.

smoknfastkiwi , Shakey's return to form has more to do with him now being on an up to date full factory bike and not the second hand bag of sh*te he raced in WSB.The last time Shakey raced in BSB he was on a full factory bike with current electronics and dominated the championship.I hope he is able to take part in the British round of the WSB championship as a wildcard on this current HM Plant Honda to to see what he can do in WSB on a factory bike.I wouldn't say the BSB championship is easy this year,i think Tommy Hill may give Shakey a good run once he regains full fitness and it's a shame Stuart Easton is now ruled out for the season, that could have changed everything and would have made the championship even better. It's been great so far though.Shakey is just proving what he can do a decent bike, good rider.
