Wow! Where did this come from?

Zemke hasn't been around this year after bagging pole and a podium at the Daytona 200. He didn't have a full time ride this year which is strange considering he placed 3rd last year in AMA superbike and had a couple of wins. Not really sure of "Jay Z's" prospects this late in the game but we'll see what happens.

Fantastic news!

Good luck Jake and welcome to BSB - I hope he does well and sticks around for the season.

I would rather see him on a full superbike than an Evo bike, but maybe that will happen next year.

Another new name in BSB has got to be good, but what a track to start with, this is going to be a real culture shock, its a place where you can get all four seasons within one hour never mind one day.

P1A could have been the championship winner in the DSB class had Perry found a sponsor. Sad. However, you BSB fans are in for a treat. Honestly, you might see Jake higher up the oder than normal for an EVO bike if this team has the equipment Jake hopes they have.
Noodle this out: Remember when the Valkyrie came out and they did that shot of it crossed up on the Salt Flats in the late 90's. That was a young Jake Zemke ragging out that 700 plus pound bike.

Great to see another American prepared to leave the comfort of home and try to further his career overseas...he'll be made very welcome. Pity about the ride tho', full Superbike would have been preferable although the bar has already been set for this particular Evo bike by Alex Lowes who had it up amongst the usual front runners in BSB regardless of its lesser status....also hope he's getting a fair deal out of this team, they don't exactly come with a high recommendation. Knockhill is also an interesting's his motocross skills?

@ No Comment- although you may be correct about the AMA I believe that the best domestic series running is actually the Australia Superbike Series. BSB is quite entertaining, but Aussies are more entertaining.

"Can we all now agree that the AMA is dead and that BSB is the premier domestic series in the world?"

er, this is a guy who doesn't have an AMA ride who joins a BSB team midseason who former rider left because the team wanted to screw him by trying to get him to sign his life away. How does that translate to BSB being the premier domestic series?

More of a case of a team needing a rider and a rider needing a ride.

When former MotoGP riders Ellison, Hodgson, Hopper goes to AMA it's to "collect a check" or whatever but an unemployed AMA rider goes to BSB it's "BSB is the premier series". Flawless logic there.
