BSB » Easton: I didn’t want to see a bike again…

The Scot was the victim of an unfortunate collision on the North West 200, ruling him out for at least the remainder of the 2011 British Superbike season.

Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!
Such a shame, cos he had such an awesome win in BSB before the NW incident.
Also, hopefully this won't be the start of rider contracts being overly-locked down to 'series', stopping rides outside of racing.
I know a lot of fans complained about why there was so much coverage with Cal Crutchlow and Nicky Hayden, but truth is, they brought a lot of media coverage and new fans to be exposed to the TT that probably never heard of it. (Yes it's possible!)

What courage these racers have, best wishes for a speedy recovery Stuart. I know you guys are a dedicated bunch but racing again are you completely mad.

@ Norman Tebbit

Seriously, WTF???

Stuart's a gr8 racer. And these guys have gigantic, CLANKING balls.
I still rate they probably have the best job in the world, and putting your body on the line is part and parcel. But it's still horrible when things like this do happen.

Get well soon Stuart, and hope to ONE DAY see you on the WSBK circuit.

I dont see how its a **** Comment Nick636 , what you said was a total non sequitur and has nothing to do with what he may do if forced to retire through injury . He has my sympathy and my respect as a motorcycle racer .
