Don't count your chickens yet Yanks and others... Byrne was fastest in SP1 and 2nd in SP2, but had a duff tyre in SP3, but still managed 6th. He's angry and will be making amends cometh the hour !!!

Kick the bike and smash things up in the garage ? That doesn't sound like Shakey Byrne to me somehow. Besides, Byrne was the first man into the 1.47's in SP2, and his SP2 time of 1.47.885 would have been good enough for 2nd in SP3, so we can see who really has the pace. Hill barely scraped the 1.47's in SP3 by 4-thousandths - 1.47.996. So its still between Byrne, Hopkins and Hill. Forget the rest - they're still 0.5 of a second off of the real players. Including Brookes....

Go Shakey Byrne - 2 podiums please son.
