What a superb result for one of Suzuki's favourite sons!I won't be surprised if Hopper clinches the BSB title at his first attempt. He seems to be gelling with the GSX-R after a tentative and uncertain start to the season when he aimed to finish regularly in the top 3-6 places in order to have a shot at the championship in the end of year shootout. He now realizes that he can win races in a fair fight against the opposition who are familiar with all the tracks.Hats off to you John. You're making all us Suzuki fans proud. NB.I guess Bautista ran off the track & lost several places in the process. He was scrapping nicely for sixth place with a clutch of riders. The post match news will reveal all. He was holding his own for a long time and showed flashes of the GSVR's potential. We want more of the same in future Alvaro.

Well, considering Shakey never quite hacked it at WSB and was well short at MotoGP level, plus Hill couldn't match the WSS/WSB place & kept crashing trying to keep up, then somebody of JH's background & experience SHOULD be winning. But back to MotoGP ... He would struggle to get in the top 8 with the riders around at the moment.

Shakey was not on a winning bike in gps. But yeah I would have liked to see him do a bit better in WSB.

Neither was Hopper on a good bike in gps but he did manage some good results.
