Simon Andrews has the first of at least two surgeries on the leg he broke in his horrific smash at Snetterton.

Poor bloke, caught out in someone else's problems and suffers a bad injury again. Not the luckiest of riders, but lets hope he recovers properly from what sound like a horrible injury and is back on the grid soon.

Si has been on stunning form this year, especially on the roads. Such a shame for him and 'Baywatch' Brogan.

Does not sound like the nicest of injuries at all.

Si I hope you are on the mend soon mate. Don't be rushing back either. Do what Ratboy and Hutchy are doing and take your time to get fit and healthy. Racing will still be here.

Good luck mate. I know all the fans in the Isle of Man send their best wishes too.

Poor bloke,that's an awful injury and i hope it all heals well without infections and the like.Missing 4 inches of bone,jesus thats a hell of an injury.Sounds like he's done a proper job of it.Get well soon mate and we all hope you make a full recovery without any setbacks.Too many riders are getting seriously hurt lately.
