Well done Josh Brookes.. What a pity you'll be further back down the grid in Race 2 than you deserved to be.. Hill and Byrne in to get get slicks because all they'd lose was a maximum 3 podium credits.. I liked this fastest lap to get a better position in the next race but not now.. Brookes made the right choice of tyre.. Came from 13th to 1st on the same tyres a Hopper.. Fantastic performance to be rewarded by 13th on grid for race 2.. What an absolute fookin joke.. Brookes deservered way more than that..

I agree totaly with you Guru, and Byrne was a lap down in 16th,but was racing to close with the riders 2nd -5th, instead of getting out of the way,he could have caused a crash .

What are you to moaning about?

Seems simple really won the race got further up the score board and some podium credits, I thinks thats what the game is all about.

If other people dont want any points, but have abit of gamemanship what the problem.

The rule is a good one and has worked well this season - it just needs a slight tweak:

Fastest lap achieved on the tyres on which the rider started the race.

The points system however is a complete steaming crock of ...

It would of been MUCH more worth while for Hopper to pit from his 4th place a couple of laps from the end for slicks and finish a lap down out of the points but with a fast time for the grid 2moro than finishing 4th.
As he didnt get any podium credits (which is all that counts for guys at the front) and starts 12th on the grid, compared to shakey and tommy hill at thr front for 2moro race.
Dont seem quite right to me...

Congratulations, Well done Josh Brookes.
Great result for the TAS Suzuki team as well.
After Brookesy seemed so close last year on the Honda, it has taken too long for this victory. Great win for Josh Brookes.

Agree with you bike race Guru.

Agree with you on the points system super Sic cylinder.

Still two more races to come, top stuff.

Respect for Brookes

And contempt and ridicule for Eurosprout's latest coverage debacle -
With 30 minutes to cover race 1 on video, 3 laps in they gut 90 seconds out to advertise cricket & MotoGP ....'Watch with Eurosprout!Miss the racing! Watch spam'! - great sales pitch that one. And drop back from lap 3 to Lap 9. Byrne has gone from 3rd to 17th, the whole field's a mishmash and hard to figure for ages and the race finishes in time to leave 10 minutes for blather.

Great god I wish there was another provider.

Incidentally, am i the only person thinking the bird in the galaxy ads which keep popping up here(screen left) looks like Drucilla?

I like the fastest lap sorting the grid for the next race, usually it works well but in changeable weather can throw up odd results.

But so could the old system where a back marker could be the first out of the pits in qualifying and get a lap in just as it starts raining then is on pole for the three races then just gets in the way during the beginning of the race.

However I do wish the shootout would go, how about if Kiyo lucks into a championship win again which could happen, after such a poor season that would really make a mockery of the series.

Or to make it even simpler, how about race results deciding the following race starting grid? You wouldn't have riders coming in then just to get some new tyres and go for a fastest lap time.
