The buck stops with the boss, McElnea has to look at himself and if it's not him personally then it's his management style and then it's the people around him. It doesn't help that they are always hiring riders who'd jump at the chance to do BSB, riders who have no ride (Bridewell) riders who would have had no offer elsewhere (Baz) and riders who are looking for a retirement ride after years away (Hodgson) and then replacing them during the season with more of the same. Come back GSE Racing & Colin Wright all is forgiven and replace this half baked excuse for a team.

Honestly if you had a rider in contention for the shootout would you not have hung on to see if he made it in and then take another look at the situation, for Baz this is just a disaster, mind you riding for McElnea for the past few seasons has been pretty much a disaster for any rider!! Good luck tommy, keep an eye on the bank account too!!

Waste of time to be honest, anyone who has joined that team in the last few years have had a poor bike with little backup. Does the riders no favours...

Says a lot when Yamaha UK sent factory bikes to GSE and overlooked Rob Mac's team....

Add to that Swan Yamaha...

Not really sure why Tommy never got on wiht the Tyco honda, but had to have been the under achiever of the year until they parted company. Oh well last chance saloon, if Tommy shines on the bike at Caldwell then all will still sit up and take note of his talent, but if it all goes wrong then Tommy could struggle to find a decent ride for next year !! Either way Tom good luck son.

I saw Tommy testing at Cadwell on wednesday and he did match Richard Cooper's times who was also there at around 133's...Cooper was riding a road going BMW 1000 complete with lights, reg plate and tax disc and not his superstock bike, so if Tommy B can find another 6 seconds at the BSB meeting at Cadwell in TWO weeks time he might be in with a shout.
Westy is awesome around Cadwell so in my opinion it is a bad move on Rob Mac's behalf.but that is why we have forums to put our opinions across.

WTF - Westy only had half a season on a superbike, jesus christ he wasnt doing that bad and feel he was improving bearing mind your team is crap!

Happy for Tommy tho but cant hide my annoyance at the incredibly ridiculas decisions going on at motorpoint this year - GET A GRIP with reality ROB MAC...!
