I Rutter isn't too badly injured and has a chance to complete the season.
Should Cadwell Park be taken off the BSB calendar? Brookes reckoned that where he took Rutter off was the only place he could pass. If the most dangerous part of the track is the only passing place then the track should be closed.
Anyway, congratulations to Laverty, Hill & the Swan Honda team for a brilliant 1,2.

There is nothing wrong with the track.
The only problem lies with complete prats like Brookes.
Thankfully the collision is under investigation and hopefully Brookes will get what he obviously deserves- banning from the rest of the season....

rog spot on , i was at cadwell and saw it all 1st hand , brooks was far too late for an overtake into hall bends , crash wrote it as rutter bouncing off brookes , what i saw was hot head brooks going for a gap that was just not going to work and far too late on that corner . he really is a hot head and needs to calm down , as for Cadwell being taken off the calender - wot a load of rubbish - its the stupidity of brooks that makes the racing dangerous , penalise him for dangerous overtake . as for Rutter being too old - open your eyes , he was in 3rd place , is that too old and slow for you blind fans !!!!!

As much as I can understand Brookes trying to get past its not the only place at Cadwell to make a move and the top of the mountain thru to Halls is too narrow and short, deffo not the best place to try when both riders were on it. Feel for Rutter, hopefully he can dust himself down and be back tomorrow. Lets see what the stewards decide on any penalty. A racing incident but still a hot headed approach.

Brookes pass was hard but i don't think it was that bad a move,he had the line to make the pass but Rutter didn't see him and had to take to the grass which due to the nature of that section of circuit doesn't leave a lot of room to do so and unfortunately had to lay the bike down, hopefully he isn't too badly hurt.Personally i think Cadwell is too tight in those parts for bikes as fast as those. The run off area's can't be improved around there so it remains very narrow. They have made a few safety improvements there but that was only because Kagayama nearly died there in 2003.That alone should have raised questions as to whether or not it's a good idea to race such fast bikes on such a narrow track.
