Josh Brookes is disappointed to have managed just a fifth and sixth place finish at Donington Park.

Crap when that happens maybe he's doing the PC thing but really means the bikes way down in the engine department, it probably means he's litterally run into a set-up wall. In an ideal world getting someone else ie a Susuki man to back to back test with Josh would be the only way to make that last little step to the front (at Donny type tracks)
Problem being when the bike feels the best its been Its very difficult to take the plung and start changing stuff you just think you can push harder in the race. Another top Susuki rider would know what it feels like on one set up slightly better. I dont think Josh would be any good at set up anyway. He needs someone to hand him the best bike possible then he'll go out and ride the nuts of it, do that he'll win allot

It was GREAT to see the Rapid Solicitors Bathams bike pass and lead the Ozzie Assassin . Clearly honour is worth a second a lap, and guilt is a dragging brake.
Also, Suzuki must be kicking themselves for withdrawing their "Official Team" status from Crescent and handing it to TAS Relentless. I'd like to hear what John Reynolds, a great BSB Champion, thought about that switch.

Have been quite surprised by Josh' bike. From what was said before the season started the Relentless bike was getting the factory support and not the Crescent boys.
Maybe given that Hopper has Suzuki links they have been supporting both teams?
I thought one of the main reasons Tommy left Crescent was due to the fact that he wasn't going to get any support from Suzuki for this year.

I believe the man responsible for that decision has already collected his P45 from Suzuki and is now working in McD's in Crawley. I little birdy told me he was worried that Paul Denning was better connected in Japan than he was so he gave the support to Relentless...

On the form he showed at Donington Park, Hopper will win the BSB. Up until now he's been riding at 95%...he's now prepared to put his balls on the line to win if he needs to. Sorry boys, Game Over.

Rode your backside off eh Josh- and still not good enough....
Perhaps it's time to realise that the talent just isn't there pal- perhaps that's why you're so regularly desperate in your riding...
Ozzie Assasin- good one that!

@ Tetley...I couldn't help having the sneaking suspicion that Rutter had asked Jessopp to go out and block pass Brookes at every possible opportunity. I was almost disappointed when he made that nice clean pass at the Fogarty's.

More anti Brookes rubbish and accusations of lack of talent. If a "talentless" Aussie can get No 2 on his bike, what does that say about his "British" opposition? No 4 after his shortened first year? If Hopkins wins this year that will be 5 out of the last 7 BSB championships won by "foreign" riders who struggled to win anything else. 2000 produced the last champion who won anything major outside of the BSB.
