Good ride by Jon. Be excellent to see him score a few more points to put himself 5th or 6th using the old (and proper) scoring system. Hopefully that would make the powers-that-be take notice of the fans' objections.

Good luck to him for the rest of the season!

As well as doing himself some good with his results he is also in a good position to help Hopkins by taking some points off Hopper's shoot-out rivals, none of whom have that sort of back-up

What a stupid article. Kirkham is a regular podium finisher isn't he! How many starts and how many podiums. Kirkham has an absolutely fantastic podium v's. Starts ratio. He's only in the team cos he has money.

if you work out how many starts Kirkham has had on a bike capable of finishing on the rostrum or in the top 5 you will find he has got quiet a good record. This year is the first time Jon has sat on a top notch bike and he has rewarded his team with some good results. The only reason Hopper is riding this year is because Kirkham found sponsorship money to run the team.

It would have been a one man team with Hopper.
I remember Kirkham had a guy do PR and sponsorship, who did loads of work last year to bring the Samsung cash for him, which then went to the team to run both riders.
