Michael Laverty beats John Hopkins to British Superbike pole position at Silverstone, while Tommy Hill and Shane Byrne can only manage fifth and 13th respectively.

laverty was really on it there.i wonder if the (really talented laverty bsb) ,was quicker or slower than eugene was on his wsbk visit to silverstone,can anyone compare the times?

Well i put in my post the other day that i asked Eugene Laverty at the premiere of Fastest if his team were going to share the data. Jokingly he said he was only giving it to Michael, i laughed as did he and that was that. Got me wondering now lol.
Wont be able to see the races live as we are away atm, coming back on Monday and we have WSB, BSB and F1 all on the V+....going to be a very lazy racy day. Hope it's a goodun and they all stay safe and upright.
Obviously got my fingers crossed for Tommy but what will be will be, Go #33! :)

great Michael Rutter fourth despite broken ribs!!!!!!
had broken ribs myself very painful.

Am missing Silverstone,will be at Brands for last round. Been some good racing this season, in some lousy conditions, from all the riders.
