As long as he doesn't throw it down the road again he may be able to take it. Although, I'm still hoping Hopper wins it.

Can't wait to be there this weekend! Let's hope the rain stays away.

Have my tickets already! can't wait... I am pretty much neutral between Hopper, Hill and Byrne. It is good to see Hopper back riding well and looking forward to seeing some great racing! Plus the supersport race between Sealey and Wilson could be a cracker!

tardozzi - That is true, however Laverty is also in the shootout. Until it is not possible for him to win I think he will be riding for himself. Kirkham on the other hand is not in the title so could help out, but I don't think he will have the pace to make a difference. All in all, its going to be a good fight for the title. If they are only a couple of points apart into race 3 of the weekend that would be fantastic! Laverty may well come into it then as I imagine he will be mathmatically out of it by Sunday afternoon.

I wouldn't be unhappy to see either of the two leaders win it, but maybe a championship for Hopper would have that little bit more magic to it, if only because of the way he's managed to rebuild his career and make his way back to the top again. It's the kind of sporting story we don't see too often, which would make it that bit special to see. Good luck to both of them though, hopefully it'll be a closely-fought contest.

Interesting as the outcome of the superbikes may be I'm just as keen to see the outcome of the Seeley/Wilson battle in SS600...will Ben fight back after his disasterous Silverstone weekend? And the 125 battle between Kyle Ryde & Wayne Ryan....Kyle in particular is one for the future, he's only just turned 14 FFS and is riding like a seasoned pro!
Just hope that the superbike champion is also up on points under the conventional scoring system that many are still applying otherwise, like it or not, it will be forever tarnished.
