I doubt Tony Carter just 'decided' by himself that he was going to invade parc ferme and 'thrust the microphone into peoples faces' as you put it you donut.
I suggest the producers of the BSB coverage for Eurosport in consultation with the series organisers would have had to agree between one another that for the last round the post-race interviewing was going to be a little different.
What's the problem anyway ? No different to interviewers jumping out and grabbing 100 metre runners literally the moment they complete the race ?
What exactly is your problem ?

What a fantastic season and what a fantastic last lap I'm really sad the season is all over now... it makes me want to start a second career in motorbike racing.... I'm only 19 so why not lol.

Anyway I'm gutted for Hopper and I'm gutted i didn't manage to get to a BSB meeting this year especially at Knockhill because it would have been great to see Hopper up in person. 2012 has a lot to live up to but whether you like the shootout it gave us a championship that went to the last few cm. What a brilliant season Hill well done... Hopper thanks for a brilliant season... wish you would stay but MotoGP or WSB beckons and whatever championship he's in I'm sure all the BSB fans will cheer him on after such a spirited season and a season he contributed to remembering... remember this season it's one for the history books.

agreed John. I thought the Tony Carter (not his fault I'm sure) interview of Ben Wilson / John Hopkins before they had taken their helmets off a very uncomfortable invasion of privacy. "How do you think the race went?" after both had just lost their championships. bad move Eurosport... bad journalism!

@Gazza1JB can you burn me a copy ?

Also loved Jack Burnicle's comment about his old school teacher... nice wee bit of humour in an intense race.

Hopper is always welcome back to Britain when his world career is over and i hope he comes back to BSB.

Also... has anyone heard any news about the rider that crashed on the home straight he looked in a bad way i hope he's ok.

The championship was lost on the second race with the stupid glitch.

Hopper needs to go to LCR if he wants his huge of bad luck with suzuki to end.

you mean like james ellison or shakey byrne ?
the points system is crap we all know that but its the system under which all teams compete and comply with and i think all you trolls whinging that shakey should have won or this and that should crawl back under your stones and get in the real world. tommy hill won fact.tommy hill will be recorded as the winner in the history books fact. i was there today and its the best days racing ive ever seen and if the new points system results in more days like this im all for it. whether its needed or not is open to debate but all you people trying to take it away from tommy should go back to football. commiserations to john hopkins . you sir are an honorary brit.

Did anyone notice that Tommy Hill did not start from the correct grid slot? He was not in his marked area!! That would have been a penalty if it was someone not in the title decider or it was an earlier round!!! Check people, it's true, check your sky plus!!!
