Jack Valentine cannot hide his disappointment at just missing out on the British Superbike title for a second year, but insists he is staying positive about the season.

Jack Valentine - Drag Racing Champion - half of the V and M team which took Triumph to their first Isle of Man win for decades - Team manager for Foggy Petronas, working miracles with a bike with 100cc less than the others - This bloke is Class. It would be great to see him with Denning and Hopper in WSB next year - maybe Colin Wright could be persuaded back to BSB to fill the vacuum ?

Neither jack nor John lost that championship, it was Suzuki that lost them the championship. What was Hopper doing racing in 3 different championships only to crash out of a MotoGP race, subsequintly missing a race at BSB which really lost them the title.

@TLRogue1 - I don't think Hopper would have accepted the BSB ride without the condition that he was the official Suzuki MotoGP standin. Also his entry into the Silverstone WSBK round gave the team valuable data for the later BSB round.

Jack Valentine - I already knew he was one of the best Team Managers in the business and he confirmed that again this year.

Wonder who will ride for Crescent Suzuki in BSB next year?

I undestand this Sick but this was later on in the season, there should have been some discretion shown when John was doing so well at BSB. If he hadn't missed a round at BSB due to injury, it WOULD have been a different story. Shame for Jack and John, they both have worked hard for it, however so has Shaun and Tommy and they pulled the rabbit out the hat when it mattered, unfortunately Suzuki was a bit short sighted.
