Mr Denning you are a class act sir. It means so much to people to hear their efforts acknowledged and for the boss to say thank you. Hopper could not have made a better choice for his come back - a class rider, in a class team with a class principal. Good luck to all for the future.

Until now, i still find it hard to swallow that John Hopkins failed to become the BSB Champions..

But behind all that, i really proud with the determiation of John towards the whole series of BSB. Great fighting effort man..!! Wish u luck on the future.

NB: Congratulations to Tommy Hill for the victory

Deepest repect for the Cresent team and what they have achieved with Hopper this season.....I must confess to initially being sceptical about John coming to BSB, his motives and his just goes to show that it is unfair to form preconceptions about someone based on their previous history, as John has so vividly displayed we all have the capacity to learn and change. Best wishes to him for his future, wherever that may take him.
And I take it from his positive comments about the scoring system that Paul will now be actively campaigning for its introduction at GP level? Somehow I don't think so........

Credit where credit is due. Fantastic season The swan yamaha team and crescent suzuki team are the best in the paddock. Congratulations Tommy the title has been a long time coming. How ever i would like to add that although hopper has done a phenomanal job this year as has the team. Has it occured to anyone that if hopper hadnt taken part in moto gp and hadnt picked up an injury he would now quite possibly be champion. If he and his team had concentrated on the championship he could win in, then he may have done, but because they didnt he came second. just an observation. Good job any way everyone in the bsb paddock im looking forward to next season.javascript:insertTextCursor('comment',%20':)')

Massive credit to Crescent racing. They lost the factory support to TAS but still outperformed them pretty much all season. Kirkham looks a future champion to me if he gets a bit more self belief too.

Be interesting to see what they do next year, rumours of taking Hopkins and Hill to SBK if Hopper doesn't go to LCR Honda in MotoGP.

Re: Denning's comments about the scoring sytem.

I wonder if Denning realises that John himself said to Shakey that he was the real champion under the old scoring system and i wonder if John would have made that comment if it was him being crowned BSB Champion and not Hill.

Congratulations to all the Suzuki Team. I think it is wonderful that a team boss says thanks to everyone involved, a large persentage of bosses don't & see it as a sign of weakness to say thank you openly.
So congratulations to Paul for overseeing a wonderful team.
Get John Hopper on a Suzuki MotoGP bike next year (Please)

Big Respect to Paul and everything he's achieved.. Which being honest is infinitely more than I ever will in motorcycle racing.. But he seems to make the "anti shootout" case for us.. He suggests riders "hold back" to maintain top six positions?? He says Hopper would have had to turn up at Cadwell under the old system to stand any chance of winning the title?? Isn't that exactly what we've been banging on about for 2 years.. How does not showing up or holding back or using the weekend as a test session make the first 9 rounds "more exciting"?? Let's not forget that's how this point system was "sold" to the fans.. From what Mr Denning is saying fans at Oulton, Croft, Knockhill, Cadwell, Thruxton and Snetterton have been "short changed".. Simply because the riders and teams can't be trusted to race to the best of their ability..
