I go to a lot of the BSB rounds and hope that if Higgs was there he went mad about medics in MotoGP throwing a rider on a stretcher and dropping them yet again whilst trying to run.

We've seen some big offs at BSB over the years but you never get worried that things aren't under control and that they are not doing everything physically possible for the injured at the scene. Plus its always the same faces in the red medic suits around the track and in the cars. It is a great reassurance.

Dizzy, surely it can only be a good thing if you learn from others mistakes? Isn't that what your mother always told you when you were growing up? It seems that MotoGP haven't learnt from theirs that is all that I was saying, RIP Tomizawa and Simoncelli

Also not sure how BSB with its schedules and strong paddock of riders can be classed as "lucky"?

He has touched our hearts.

He graced our lives for such a short time, but gave us immense pleasure.

For that we thank him and will never forget him.

To all his family and friends we send our condolences.

Ciao Marco

Rest in Peace

Dizzy - I'm sure Ben Gautrey's team/family /friends do not believe that they are 'lucky'.
Ben died at Cadwell this year, it has been a crap year in this respect.

Miss you Shoya, Marco and Ben.

Jonathan - I don't think Dizzy meant it like that, but I know exactly what you mean.

R.I.P Super Sic #58.

Also missing Ben, Bill, Kevin, Derek, Neil and Wayne who we've lost this year. Not to forget Shoya, Ollie, Jonesy, Robert, Martin, Chris, Ashley and numerous others who have all died taking part in the sport (and way of life) which they loved.

There was no need to move Marco until the ambulance arrived. The race had been stopped within seconds.
It would be expensive to use the same "team of marshals" at every GP but it should be done with the amount of money involved in the sport.
Some of the marshalling around the world at the GP's is shocking. They wouldnt be in charge at club racing in some countries.
