in my opinion you need a half decent pit lane (garages etc..) and paddock area to be considered, after all bsb is one of the best series in the world we have got rid of some of the micky mouse circuits already.

the actuall circuit and area looks good with some investment to creat pitlane garages and maybe bar/restaurant it would be half way there! its not ready now though. just my opinion!!

There is no better place to watch Bike Racing than Ireland. I am a huge Road racing fan and been watching from the hedges for years(having said that i never went to Mondelo)so give the Irish a chance and you wont be dissapointed.

BSB are looking to move in to mainland europe, Assen will likely be on next years calender possibly even Portimao. There's no way they'll move to a circuit that isn't top draw.

I agree it isn't ready yet, I really would love it to come across the water though. They are really working hard and at least deserve an assessment to advise on what they need to add to hold a bsb round

the actual track is already better than a good few circuts that are already used for bsb rounds, and viewing is good too,no pit garages yet,and there is a bar, chuck a few marquee garages up and go ahead with it i say, would be good racing, and a good meeting

Have to say I agree with the previous post about putting marquee garages up. They already do that at cadwell so i dont see how that should be a problem.

I think the main thing is the access its very tight country roads that lead up to the circuit. Safety wise i think its not far off if not there. I know its lined with barriers however there is good run off where required and there are quite a few tracks currently used in bsb that are lined with barriers which are much closer to the track than at bishopscourt, Cadwell, Oulton and even Brands Hatch which i personally think they should drop the indy round from there as the last corner onto the straight (well corner straight) is an accident waiting to happen.

good idea in theory but the logistics of getting the whole BSB traveling circus there would be near impossible.the circuit is nearly up to BSB spec and would be a good replacement for Thruxton but as i say a no brainer.NOW if the main ferry route to Northern Ireland was on Palmer ferries there may be a chance of BSB going to Bishopscourt.Shame though because the irish do love their racing.
