Wow! that took me by surprise. With Shakey and Stuart Easton Kawasaki stand a good chance of some wins, but for me the main news is Ellison to MotoGP. I just hope it goes well this time

As soon as I posted that previous comment, I kinda bit my tongue hoping it could be overlooked... Maybe a little optimistic thinking he'd beat Shakey next year, but doubtless, the kid is super fast and a future champ for sure. I HOPE he gets to WSBK!!!

Good luck to them.

Great news for the BSB, fully expect Kawasaki to be up at the sharp end now. Bit shocked by Shakey's defection, would have thought the HM Plant Honda would have given him a better chance of being in the title hunt again but best of luck to all involved. Glad Easton has been given another shot.

Even the top level BSB teams have issues with sponsorship.perhaps Birdy was the only person who could pay Shakey's wages?.
Shakey and Paul Bird will develop the bike and the team for the first half of the season, finishing inside the top 10,which Shakey will do easily and then after Cadwell 'go for it' when he is in the shootout..
The shootout rules might just work in Shakey's favour in 2012 as they did him an injustice this year.
