Splitlath were no where in 2011 so why stay with Aprilia for 2012.
Harris at some rounds was riding a Superbike spec RSV4 and not an EVO spec bike and was still off the pace. The 2012 bikes will be as quick as the WFR bikes were in 2011 and possibly a little bit quicker with tuning aloud.
All the electronic traction control gizmo's only makes the bike easier to manage on worn tyres.
On fresh tyres the qualifing times will be within 0.2 of a second of 2011 times which young Gowland achieved on several occasions.
Splitlath thinking they are going to be nearer the pace with the new rules is a joke.John Dimbylow must have money to burn.

Splitlath and "firm" are two words I wouldn't usually associate together. Hawk must be really hurting to partner up with that lame duck team. And not running the same equipment? How is this a good plan?

I'd like to see cooper trooper on the full spec bmw along with either Jon Laverty or Rutter (or all three). Could be a cracking team.

I seem to remember they had no support last year from motorad uk. Didn't they take delivery of stock road bikes and have to try and develop themselves? or is that what all privateers do?

i see your fav rider got what he deserves.Possible contender i would say.
Seeley has acheived all his success on bikes that didn't have traction control..
good luck little fella.

we're going to come out fighting,” said team manager John Dimbylow, referring to .......

..... how much they're gonna struggle to get away from the respect of the race fans currently shown by wholesale pointing at Splitlath and laughing derisively.

If ever a team was less ddeserving of sympathy .....Pha!

Just letting you know guys.. I've always been a registered user but sometimes just can't be bothered logging in.. The comment above isn't mine.. It isn't the first time someones used my name in vain.. But if you look there are no two fullstops after every comment and there are three exclamation marks after the last one.. Not even my writing style.. I only point this out because the post was designed to cause offence.. I have no problems offending people at all under BRG.. From now on if my name ain't in blue its someone else offending you.. Whoever it was "grow a pair".. Bike Race Guru is my name.. You put your subnormal head to thinking of one for yourself..

@ Louth Looney.. Yeh I think he desrves it.. IMHO Superbikes had a contrived finish last year and that was the only reason it went to the last race.. Seeley won SSTK in 2009 by a mile but the racing with Brogan was out of this world.. The racing with Wilson last year in SSPRT was just as good if not better.. His racing brain and atitude to the job in hand are second to none.. A very dark horse for next year.. Without being biased Wilson seems to have come out of last season better thought of by the fans.. But the teams know which side their breads buttered on.. Think the team always wanted him especially with NW200 in mind the guy just had to expore the options.. Suzuki's only champion again.. Roll on 2012
