And what happened to John Laverty? He almost killed himself riding one of these piles of scrap and now hes been dropped

In a strange way I cant help but think theyve done him a favour, the bikes were so bad they were definate career enders and in Johns case they almost life enders

Well good luck to Barry and Dan, Please put me out of my misery ASAP on the destination of the best BMW rider and Superstock winner Richard Cooper. I thought he would have been a cert to move up???

Rich Cooper is rumoured to be riding for Jentin next year.He has been involved with Jentin in the past on stockers so a move back to Jentin seems logical.
Jentin have not yet put an entry in but will hopefully be in BSB running a 2 rider team on Ducati

does anyone know the story behind why the bikes were so bad? They had 2 top-six quality riders but were consistently way down the timing sheets, John Laverty's accident was horrific and I can also recall seeing Ian Lowry visibly angry with his bike after picking himself up out of the dirt at Brands Hatch.

It's got nothing to do with the bikes. The bikes are perfectly good enough to win BSB. It's the muppets at Hawk. They should rename the team DUCK BMW. The people make a team, not the equipment. Yamaha is a typical example, in the hands of Rob Mac - fail. In the hands of the SMR boys - success. Need I say more. Had SMR, Cresent or Honda run the BMW's they could of run at the front every weekend. BMW UK are a bunch of clowns for not being able to see this. They seem to think winning the Super Stock Championship is so prestigeous for the brand. Beating Joe Bloggs in his camper van is hardly a winning endorsement for the might BMW. Pathetic. Give those beautiful BMW's to someone who knows what they're doing a you'll see their real potential.

That bikes not bad, and having watched barry burrell nearly ride over the top of Kio out of Copse at Silverstone every lap this year, he certainly has the corner exit speed sorted, just got blew away by the Honda grunt down the straight. That shouldn't happed this year with the Evo thing, so i expect to see a better showing from the Hawk guys. Good luck to Dan and Barry anyway, bring it on, this Christmas crap is boring me stupid !!

Sounds ok what bikes will you run? You know how to it so crack on.

Hawk are bsb race winners finished 4th in championship twice, not muppets.

Gobie quotes 'Give those beautiful BMW's to someone who knows what they're doing a you'll see their real potential.'
What like the WSBK Factory BMW squad or the BMW Italia team.
They cannot win at world level with the might of BMW behind them so expecting them to win at BSB is a little bit optomistic.Hicken did a good job last year with the EVO bmw of Bazza Burrell but will be the first to admit he struggled to get the full superbike spec bikes to work on pectel electrics. As for your muppet comment Gobie you are talking garbage.BSB race winners in the past as Stuart says.
Motec all round next year so they might be a bit nearer the front.

@The Burton Bullet what electrics package pectel yikes why did they use those electrics but Buildbase maybe a dark horse for the season because the BMW was really good in EVO form in the hands of Burrell who was the best of the rest behind the Giantkiller and Mr Consistant if Linfoot can iron out the crashes he should do well too
