It was announced ages ago Assen would be on the calendar, and I welcome it! Got a road-trip planned for that!

Haven't you ever noticed foreign rounds as support races in the UK? I remember the Dutch GXNR cup at Donnington a few years ago.

I think it's great idea and addition!

Croft chose not to run a BSB round this year due to the fact they only have a small number of "noisey" days available and wanted to run trackdays instead. This was discussed a couple of months back when the calendar first got announced. (likewise Assen)

So Much for the organisers trying to reduce costs. Having a round at Assen will not help the teams or the spectators. For the teams in the Show down they will have to test there as well so just driving up the costs all the time. British Championship is British so should be on British tracks. The champion ship could go to Anglesea ??. They can not use the excuse no facilities there because Cadwell has no garages and with the lack of proper pits is proberbly the worst circuit logistically to deal with for the big teams

assen was announced ages ago, as has been said... besides its only assen, its quicker to get there than it is to get to knockhill! unless you're scotch of course

bring it on, assen has the best atmosphere of any event in bike racing imho, camping with the nutters is one of lifes joys!

Great stuff.BSB spreading its wings.Assen is a fantastic track,in my view the best in Europe. I do the NW200,TT,UGP,knockhill and Brands, and Assen will be the cheapest for me to get to. I,m looking forward to it....
