BSB » Brookes will be a ‘different proposition’

'I think we'll see a real improvement out of Josh Brookes this year...he'll certainly be a force' - Philip Neill

I don't really get the sniping that Josh gets on the various forums as a dangerous rider. He's had a great career at international level riding fair and fast, then has a couple of unfortunate accidents in BSB and suddenly he's a dangerous rider. I (and a fair number of bike racing fans) am more than happy to see a racer in BSB who always goes for the place and takes no prisoners, he's not there to make friends, he's there to win. A trip to the hairdressers might not be a bad idea though.

A couple of unfortunate accidents!!!??? He broke Guintoli's leg on a warm up lap, skittled half the field at Mallory and as for this year's Rutter incident. Even Whit had a pop at him and Whit's no wuss!

Rutter is a class act. Macau results prove that. The only way Brookes could pass Rutter was to deliberately ram him off the track with no regard to rider safety or injury. We don't need the Brookes type of rider - he's a spoiler, not a sportsman.

Josh Brookes is a great rider with a great team, good a chance as anyone at being champ in 2012 but a wee guy called Alistair Seeley is his new team mate.Hold unto your hats, with all the new rules this could be the best year ever..

'Brookes' season was marred by a series of crashes that knocked his confidence'
You're having a laugh surely??
What about all the race winning, championship winning and career threatening crashes that have wrecked other riders seasons caused by Brookes!?
And it's got nothing WHATSOEVER to him being Austrailian- the guy has no integrity and is a complete liability, proved by himself over and over again....
