Bike racing is all about the noise!

I'm sorry but if you buy a house near a racing circuit, you should know what to expect! It's like the tools back where I come from complaining because once in a blue moon a local rally event runs through the woods.

McbainUK you are 100% correct.
noise is part of the spectable of bike racing hence moto gp bikes 115db +
The noise limit at Cartagena and most Spanish circuits is 110db so why do your testing on a 'Quiet' trackday at Mallory?.

Back in the 70's when the mighty M/V came to mallory you could hear every gear change around the circuit magic times ! We pay for the racing to be seen and heard, Wonder what the drag racing boys would say if they got this treatment?

They were testing on the Saturday track day in preperation for racing on Sunday. But as it was so wet and cold on Sunday they didn't risk the racing, BSB to think about!!

Testing on saturday to race on sunday.
Sunday was the 1st EMRA club meeting of the season. It is not fair for a BSB elite team to enter club race meeting.The Hawk BMW team need to be testing on track with Josh Brookes not Phil Brookes at an EMRA club meeting.

@TheBurtonBullet,

Why would it be unfair for a BSB team to enter a club race for practice? Get a start race and pull off before the checkered flag. It's been done for ages. Plus it allows the club level guys to pick up some lines from the "fast" guys. Win win as I see it. Again sponsored guys practicing at a club level will run the race until the last lap and then pull off so as not to win the club race. They are just trying to clock laps and get some starts that's all. JMHO
